In December, Year 6 developed their performance skills with our Australian Christmas topic, working with the green screen to record a festive concert.

Reading - We recommend that you read with your child for about 10 minutes every evening as this is vital in improving and developing their reading skills. Please encourage your child to read their book carefully, and during/after the reading process it is helpful to ask them questions about the text as this will help to develop their comprehension skills. We aim to change their reading book from school once a week but we realise that sometimes a longer book might take longer to read. Please make sure that every time your child reads, there is evidence of this within their reading record. This should include the pages read and a short response to them from the child. If we haven't changed their book when it needs to be changed please remind us :-)
